Today, we continue to lead with innovative teaching methods, access to the full national curriculum and new Information Communication Technologies in classrooms. For students living close to the school there is flexibility for day provision. Admission can take place at any time during the school year.

Southlands offers a 38-week residential programme for boys. Admission can take place at any time during the school year and day provision is available for students living close to the school. Southlands School is located in Lymington, Hampshire, and enjoys the advantages of the natural beauty of the New Forest and the south coast and its many local amenities. The New Forest village of Brockenhurst is nearby, as are the south coast towns of Lymington and Bournemouth. All these centres are easily accessible from Southlands by rail or road, as is the major south coast city of Southampton.

Route from the M27:
Leave the M27 at Junction 1 and follow the A337 to Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst.

Enter the one-way system through Lyndhurst following signs to Brockenhurst and Lymington.

Approximately two miles after passing through Brockenhurst turn left at a staggered crossroads onto Rope Hill, signposted to Boldre and Pilley.

Follow this winding lane through Boldre village, past The Red Lion pub and over Boldre Bridge. Continue up the hill and turn right into School Lane.

At a sharp, 90º left hand bend Southlands School will be straight ahead (i.e. on the right hand side of the lane). Please turn carefully into the school grounds, park in the visitors’ car park and come to Reception in the main school building.
